Saturday, August 19th – Hot Summer Nights No. 2 at the Scottsdale Pavillions – Join us between 5 and 9 pm as we gather with our fellow Mazda enthusiasts from the Arizona Mazda Club (AZMC) for our second Saturday night outing of the summer, this time at the Scottsdale Pavillions. Our original plan had called to meet at F1 Race Factory early for our Summer Go-Kart Grudge Match, but after checking with F1 on Monday, I discovered that their facility is closed from 2 to 10 pm for a corporate private party, so Go Karting is cancelled.

Plan to meet near Home Depot row around 5 pm.
Get there early as a Great turnout is expected and parking spots go FAST!

It's Home Depoot at the Pavillions. You'll get off on Indian Bend and Home Depot is on your right, or the north side of Indian Bend.

^^^ I agree to many pony cars. The only Mustang I acknowledge is a '65/'66.

Time for a HOT summers Night at the Pav's Wooohoooo

 

I thought someone had reserved 20 spaces for us in advance?

 

Unfortunately, I've worked this issue (reserving a section) in the past. The people that organize the Pavillions Car Show will give any club a regular "reserved" spot with the caveat that your club shows up EVERY Saturday night to represent. That is easy for large clubs like the Mustang and Corvette clubs that have several hundred members, but difficult for smaller groups like ourselves. Unless we have a "die hard" group of regulars, spot reservation is just not very realistic.

 

How many do we need? I'm there Representin' almost every weekend .

 

Better add the '69/'70 BOSS 429 to that list.

 

Sorry I meant the first gen mustang 64 1/2 to 69 model years. Wasn't a fan of the Mustang II

The time to meet at The Best Buy @ ArrwHd But I'm thinking leaving there at 3:30 pm. That we wen can stop by Desert ridge and meet any one there and make it to the Pavilions by 4:30 So Mac isn't by himself.
Also if you have a folding camping chair bring one for yourself.

And it is the '67 and '68 Camaros that were hot! I really loved mine.

The early (64-65) fastback Mustangs were good looking too... but primitive.

That's my two cents. Now if I could get my wife's eyes off them (those early mustangs).
