All right ,,,we have 34 Mazda RX-8 owners on our list.
Just have to say that, that is impressive !
I am still looking for that "all the local members" photo shoot.
Just think 34 RX-8's in one shot.

What's more amazing is there are folks posting in this thread who haven't PM'd me their info ...so they're not included in the 34 on the front page yet!

The Count... 1, 2, 3, ha ha ha!

Ok being an **** geek type... I had to count the paint colors (place groans and sympathy here).

I came up with:

2 Black Cherry
2 Nordic Green
2 Snowflake White
3 Lightnng Yellow
3 Winning Blue
3 Velocity Red
5 Brilliant Black
6 Sunlight Silver
7 Titanium
---
33 RX-8s

I knew I should have held out for a VR! But my license would be suspended by now.

And Titanium is a naturally cool color and many folks saw that fact when they selected their car!

I will let someone else count them up by year.

When we do a photo shoot we need to be sure the Ti and Silvers are separated by other colors so the cars don't blend togther!

Hey everyone

I just got a RX-8 last Saturday after driving a 6 for 2.5 years and it is awesome.

It would be cool to have a meet, so I could me all of you.
Me and guys from AZMC are meeting tomorrow to go to drive-in theater to see "the cars", so everyone is welcome.

It is great to be a part of RX-8 community.

Howdy Rus~ Congrats on your new 8. If you want to receive emails bout RX8 gatherings send me a PM or email with this info: Name, Screen Name, Year & Color, and your cell # *IF* you don't oppose to having your celly provided to the other AZ8 members that are listed on the very first page of this thread.

I'd LOVE to do the Cars drive in but as swtblnde said, we're going to another RCCAZ (Rotary Car Club of AZ) event tonight over on the west side. We're getting our new club t-shirts tonight too RCCAZ is a $25/yr membership that is exclusive to rotary owners.

Welcome and looking very forward to meeting your soon Rus! Thx!

Don't forget to post Why it's beneficial to be a Rccaz member....

Rx8- Rus, Skip the Drive in and hang with us tonight or better yet bring the rest of the AZMC crew too. The meet isn't exclusive.

It would be a good idea to "merge" RccAZ and AZMC to some degree.
I think convincing the whole crew to head to Peoria after the movie is going to be tough...
You guys aren't going to still be there at midnight, are you?

One big club in Arizona. I kinda like the idea because I am torn between which club to go with. I like them both and it becomes difficult to decide which event to go to when they both have a get together on the same day.
It could be one big happy family. Just a thought.

I have my feet in the pool and I am afraid to leave the house! I think spontaneous human combustion starts at 115 degrees!

But I am all for a little get together. Lunch as Poolside suggested? Or Pavs?

I am open to ideas here.

As long as it is less than 115 degrees!

When you guyz comin' to Tucson??? it was only 108 today!!!

BTW, I bought Rotorgeeks CarPC set up with the modified factory NAV housing, rear camera etc... so I will be looking to do some traveling once that whole shebang is up and running (hopefully running very well by Sevenstock!)
Boxcar, I will be pestering you pretty soon here, but rotor geek has been very helpful with the sale so far...

115°F? It was 118°F on my patio and I was grilling chicken! Really. (Not on the concrete - on my grill. Silly!)

I was actually out doing day-time tuning runs at 2:30 this afternoon. Had to make sure that I wasn't gonna get detonation at full boost with the A/C on in this kind of heat. The new rad seems to have done the trick.
Nothing like a little torture test from time to time.
