So I paste the image weblink address in the new uploader and the text just disappears before I can upload it.
Please put the old uploader back. It always worked. Not sure why somebody thought it needed changing. Typical "if it's not broken don't try to fix it" scenario ...
I uploaded the image using the old "manage attachments" process, then copied the link to load in the "insert image" button. However the new uploader is now the "insert image" button. When I paste the RX8Club uploaded image link into the new uploader it just disappears. However, the new uploader allows you to select the image directly rather than having to upload it first as before (i.e. bypassing the old "manage attachments" process) and doing it that way works fine.
I suppose my suggestion is to remove the "manage attachments" function since with the new uploader it no longer seems to serve any purpose.
Dragging a picture works great. My issues is specifically when wanting to add picture from another site. It would be a PITA to have to download a picture and then drag and drop.
It still has some problems. Clicked the image loading button and got the attached fubar situation. No window for putting in a URL. Took me 20 minutes of f'ing around to get out if it as clicking any of the buttons did zip. Thought I was going to lose all my typed text etc.
Edit: same BS happened trying to to do it here too
Is it possible for someone to add what the maximum attachment size limit is where people trying to add an a attachment can see it? I have a Mazda.co.jp pdf file that’s 6.6Mb that it won’t accept, but nothing to judge how many pieces I need to break it down to for uploading. All it lists are the acceptable attachment .xxxx types.
Also had an issue trying to upload a pdf file, it was showing as “.pdf”, but the system kept saying it wasn’t a valid file type?
