K&N Carbon Fiber Heatshield

Thought I'd start this thread for Vivid to keep us posted as to when/if the K&N CF heat shield will be ready. Huff: any idea's?

Any updates on the CF heat shield? Are they going to fab this up or am I going to have to look elsewhere for a heatshield?

Just talked to the prodcut manager of K&N and I think I convinced him to sell the heatshields the only problem is that he said that they are gonna cost a heavy penny ... probably $250. And he is thinking of just letting Vivid distrubute them. Or something like that. Also , there is no performance gains from this heatshield as stated by him ,but it does help reduce heat soak.
