When you first put it on it will definitely give you a headache from how loud it is, but after it gets some flames through it, it calms down.

You need your stock hardware (rubber hangers, doughnut, ect) for the install, AP does not supply it.

+Buy a high flow intake or it will not work as well.

I trimmed it and it's fine now. Just trim the "inside" part.
You don't need a "high flow" intake. OEM is fine if you like.
