there is a guy selling a used "act prolite flywheel and counterweight" price seems too good. what distinguishing marks do these have on them that i should ask to see pics of? logo, part number, casting? any info would be greatly appreciated. i plan on changing out the clutch in spring, its getting too cold here for a job like that. i will buy my clutch from you guys but if i can get a jump on collecting the flywheel now for a good price i dont want to pass it up. also what model would you recommend?

give me a call so we can discuss this in more detail. But as far as part numbers, they are mentioned in the first post, and are etched on the parts.

For clutch it depends on how you drive...I am still rocking my HDMM and it works great.

HDSS is also a good one.

hope that helps.

jesus.. i've been shopping for flywheel+counter-weight combo for months, and this is hands down the best price i've ever seen. once money starts flowing freely, i'll be picking up the HDMM clutch kit and the streetlite+cw. i'll keep in touch =)

That HDMM combo will be very nice. I beat the crap out of that combo daily and it is quite dependable.

LMK when you are ready sir.

Got mine installed today! Can't wait to get it broken in and drive the crap out of my car :-)

TH Motorsports was very helpful and shipped very fast.

I would definitely order through them again and will keep them in mind for my future purchases and (hopefully) mods.

Can you give me a run down on a PROPER break in? Or is there a link to something on your website?

So far it sounds like taking it easy for around 500 miles is the consensus... but by taking it easy do they mean keeping the RPM's low? Or just being easy on the throttle and shifts?

Thanks again man. Tons of help. The clutch feels great so far.

I'm getting ready to do my cluth and flywheel. From what I have been reading, they say keep the rpms down and take it easy on the throttle and shifts for the first 500 - 700 miles
