Just add oil before filling up.
200\220g per fill up is enough.

Mighty Premix Oils list These are the ones I tested in an unorthodox way for a wankel. You still get an idea. Since I live across the pond i'm not sure about the brands available there and the models\types available for said brands.

I bought an ultrasonic cleaner for **** and giggles with a friend of mine. 6L capacity...
Now we are making a 20L one to clean whole engines...
Screw cleaning the conventional way, it's a breeze!

2 cycle conventional

I just started using 2 cycle conventional motor oil in my RX-8, 1ounce for every gallon of fuel.
The engine runs smoother almost immiadetly and idling is so much calmer.

1 ounce for every gallon is a bit aggressive...

If that premix rates fix your idle and the car runs better it's time for a new engine.

paimon.soror i red your post.
What is a good amount of oil per tank?

sliding8 i red yours too.
nothing was wrong with the idle, things got a little smoother.
Car has 26,000miles on it, new engine would not be a good news.

How long have you been premixing at that rate? If you have been premixing like that for a few months, it would be interesting to see what your plugs look like. It would be a good indicator if you are using too much premix.

I can't speak from any proven experience, but sticking to 6-8oz per fill up has been working fine for me.

At o'reillys you should look for this Lucas Semi Synthetic 2-CYCLE Oil : Lucas Oil it works well and has the proper certifications.

I do .5oz per 1 gallon... plus an extra .5oz on top of it on first fill up of my cycle.. next fill up I just do .5oz per 1gal as recommended by idemitsu... then on third fill up I run 1/4 tank of gas down before premixing then fill up again and start the process over again.

Haven't used it, but its probably at least a FC approved oil since it's meant to be used in snow mobiles. If it is, I don't see any reason why not to use it. M

Most guys here lean towards other brands. But really as long as you're using a FC, FD, ISO approved pre mix oil you're good...

That oil is TCW3... 2oz isn't going to do ****. Anything less than 5oz in a full tank is pointless.

I'd go for a full synthetic premix. It burns better.
