a wikipost

if used it slides into the 2nd post of the thread and contains any valuable information that is updateable by anyone in the thread. to get an idea of what I am talking about here is a site that uses it.

http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthr...uid=0&t=912174

examples it could be used for here is how-to's on different threads created. ex: someone asks how to deflood a car, if an answer is given, wikipost would give the answer. that is a general one that I know there are a lot of answers. but there are still some fixes and such out there that this would become useful in the end. turbo bolt-on howto with a step by step in the wiki. if an upgrade comes out like the devils hairdryer, a part 2 could be added to the wiki about this is how its done if you buy upgrade. hope I havent confused anyone, best way i could describe its usefulness....

perfect example would be the recent thread created about iphones.. any useful apps that people use could be added to the wiki and links to those apps with information about it, etc.

Great minds...

No response then. Probably won't get much of a response now. Would definitely be perfect for the stickies where the OP has abandoned updating.
