Geez, I'm not religious mate, but after that, I'm not about to join your denomination.

Gomez,
LOL! You persistent bugger . Here's an idea - become a forum admin, then you can roll your sleeves up and fix it yourself .
Thanks for the early morning laughs.
cheers,

I don't have the talent to fix it myself.....but goddammit, I have the persistance of Wile E Coyote inbred with Pepe Le Pew, and the rat cunning of Foghorn Leghorn.
I will see this through to the end, I tell ya, THE END, AARRRGGGGGGGH :D

Before this problem arose, you had the option of having all the details that appear at the top of your post.....location, join date, post count etc.....under your avatar on the left. Then the text of your post would appear to the right of your avatar. As it stands now, there is a lot of blank space at the top of each post.
Pages have become a lot longer to scroll through......

Look at how much white space is in this thread where the postbit headers are on the left:
http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=353417
It seems that threads with short posts have more wasted white space if the postbit headers are on the left vs on the top.
Even longer posts like the first one in this thread http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=361136 seem inefficient as there's gobs of white space under the left postbit header.
Maybe I'm forgetting what this forum looked like with left postbit header - but looking at the RX7 forum with left postbit looks like it would require more scrolling then with top postbit header that we're stuck with here for the moment.
Straighten me out here . Is my logic flawed or do we really have less scrolling/less white space with top postbit header?

Yeah, a short mikeb type post is gonna take up more space. Curses!!....,you've let the cat out of the bag! I suppose it all comes down to the average post length. It's a preference thing really, in the end it's about how you'd like the site to look....
It has been a while since I've looked at the RX-7 site, guess what.......they are stuck on left postbit header .

For a while we were stuck with oviar skin here (or there was no dark plasma equivalent available.... I forget) and I registered my complaint because the radiation was killing my eyes. Fortunately it was fixed so I could go back to using plasma.

Boostd7 runs that site and this site, he told HeTz that he wanted to make the signatures disabled by default when they upgraded the site last month......and they were. At that time, the left postbit went west and HeTz blamed it on a coding bug......then shot through as hasn't been seen of since!
It's some goddamn social experiment they're carrying out on the two forums.....lock the 7 guys up one way, and the 8 guys up the other......sit back and watch and await the results .
Well times up on the science project HeTz.....inject me with the antidote!

Do you have a clue now with the RX7 forum examples and all ?
Please help my friend Gomez thru your connections with the admins.
I'll definitely miss his hilareous posts after y'all quit screwing with him, end the social experiment, and give him his dearly beloved left postbit header.

PS: Don't start experimenting on my by disabling plasma or top postbit header ......... pleeze :D.
PPS: Dear Lord, I pray that you'll give the forum admins the strength, time, and wisdom to find and fix the left postbit header bug (without breaking something else) so my good friend Gomez can be complete again :D :D.
