I've got a new PM, but it does not show up on my list of PMs. I've f5 my inbox several times w/o luck.
Thoughts? |

|
I have waited for half a day but my new PM still not showing up
i have tried to send PM to myself, but it never appear too  |
I have 4 PMs that I can't access.
|
I am getting this crap too, I have one that I still have the email I got, b/c it is the only place I can read it, and that was a week ago, now I have another. :banghead:
|
weird- i have been pming back and forth with several people over the last couple of days with no hitches i have noticed
|
I had issues with the one you sent me today, but now it is working fine, for that one. there is still one from last weekend that I have no record of.
|
seems to be working fine for me.
|
this happens a lot when the forum goes loco
|
Works for me.
|
This just happened to me. Took about 20 minutes to show up.
|
Bump - just experienced it -
th15 1S teh sux11! |
I get that all the time.
I'll get a notification of a new PM. It'll show up in my "new messages" indicator, but that actual message wont be available until much later or even the next day! |
I noticed that if I click on User CP under the RX-8 Club banner it will show it if I receive a email stating I have a new PM and Private Messages doesn't show it right away. :dunno:
It seems like there are two data bases that are not synchronizing properly. Right now it is showing messages that were deleted a few days ago. It happens more with IE7 than FireFox. |
If this happens try -> Delete Browsing History -> Deleting temp files in IE7, seems to clear it up for the old messages. (It is probably pulling from cache to potentially speed things up).
I don't know if this helps with getting the messages faster, but it should since it would be pulling from the site instead of the cached page on a person's hard drive. |
To solve it change the Browsing History settings to "Check for a newer version of the page each time a site is visited"
This should clear it up. Man I work backwards sometimes. |

Not that it's that bothersome, but I've gotten no E-mail notifications of anything for months.
