I went looking for an old post of mine and discovered there are only 500 post available when I search for "all posts for XXXX". Ther's a heck of a lot of good information back there...where is it and how come we can't get it back to search through?

your search is too broad. narrow it down

 

I just want to see all posts from a user, even myself, how can I 'narrow it down'?

I click the name and choose "all post by xxxx"

 

find posts from a year ago and older, sort by thread start date, in ascending order. that will give you the 500 earliest posts or should. if you show results by post youll get a hell of alot more returned. so try show results as threads. ill see if there is anyway to add like a 2 year ago and older or even 3 year.
