I have on gripe with this site and its resourcefulness... I remember posting something about howardforums.com and how people list there phones on the side... I wish this site did this as well and hear me out.... Im also positive that with some issues with this car as far as gas milleage and other things are concerened... There is/could be a trend depending on whether or not the car is a MT or AT and when it was built... I think it would be great if this was listed under every users name so we could see if there is a trend... I think it will make this site 1000x more useful and stop people from panicing about issues with the car!

I think I actually responded to this a while back via PM, but I can't recall.

jniamehr, the deal is that many people are more than a little bit reluctant to give out personal information about themselves on the internet. Basically it's a privacy issue. If you want to discuss something with them directly, I'd suggest you use the PM function of the board, then exchange phone numbers if you like there.

 

I dont think I am asking for people to list their phone numbers. I just think that it would be more convienient for all of us if we could see what type of car/transmission a poster has (not required info) so we can try to see if there is an emerging pattern of problems or other things.

 

oh that kind of list- i.e. which car they have is most likely in their sig already. but coming soon will be a place for car info that will be accessible underneath a persons screen name. however it wont be mandatory so the only people hwo have that listing will be folks who opted to put their info in there. this is probably still a month away. hetz is on it. he is programming guru no.1 here.
