New member posts must be authorized
The spam on this board is getting out of hand. How about any posts from a new member must be authorized from a moderator before it is avaliable. After ten or so quality posts the user can post without restriction.

part of the problem is that they google for known forum urls. For example, anything that contains "showthread.php". Then spambots are dispatched across the matching sites.
