under your user CP.. there is a theme for it under options. very last option has 3 different choices (forum default, light, dark). forum default is the light, and the dark is the blue metrodozer mentioned.

I think a new layout is a very good idea. I think we need more moderators to monitor this site. I've been a member since jan 2007 and i've seen alot members get away for things such as bashing and some members get away with it and some do not and get banned. My point is i'm starting to think some moderators choose sides and show favoritism. If not more moderators i think we should get rid of the ones that are not doing their jobs properly and replace them with moderators that will do the job right.

Thank you for proving me right!! Your comment that you posted only shows that moderators are not monitoring this site properly because they allowed you to say that to me and use the F bomb and did nothing about it. If another member were to say that they would have been banned for a min of 3 days or a permanent ban. I'm pretty sure they are great people outside of the forum, but are they suited for the job of a moderator? A moderator does not choose sides. Maybe they are great people to you because they may let you slide and let you get away for saying the F bomb or you guys are friends outside of this forum. This only shows that is favortism is involved. So thanks once again for proving me right

If you see a problem, report it. I get a lot of this from people- "so and so got away with blah like 3 weeks ago!" but the person complaining (and everyone else that read it) never bothered to report it. We cannot see everything- and we, like most forums on the net, rely on our users to help us. We have been considering some additional mods for a few months, but the same thing will happen if we don't get people reporting stuff. Additionally, members do not see when other members are warned, generally speaking. If you have a question about something, just ask us- don't just complain about us.

I personally like the layout of the 8 club.
The banner at the home page has been around for a long time and having it scroll through pictures would be a neat idea but it's not the end of the world if I have to look at the VR 8 for another 5 years.

as for more mods: like Elara said: we just have to report things more often. (and I don't mean every little 'offense', i mean things that are actually worth of being reported) This is our community and it's up to us to make sure it stays an enjoyable place for everyone. Besides, if anything we need to give the Mods / Admins a raise.
