I didn't lose any...I don't think I did at least. Oh wait, it's harder to take more than 100, when you don't have that much. :D

MikeB lost the most, something near 2000. He's from California.

i lost about 800 posts and i've never posted there. and besides it's already been said that you wouldn't lose any posts they just wouldn't count anymore.

Maybe a mod manually deleted the posts randomly... changing the post count to whatever number suits them? It seemed to happen all in one day, to a bunch of people at the same time.

Mods/Admin don't get paid do they?
they might have other jobs to pay the bills?
they might also have families, freinds, hobbies etc?

So maybe they are working on it, but, between their normal duties on the site and their personal obligations, they might not have a lot of time to worry about restoring egos.

I'm sure answers will come in time. Relax.

Anyhow, I think you'll probably make those 2000 posts up whinning about getting your 2000 posts back.

Posts in the suggestions forum don't count. :p
I think someone deleted a lot of old threads and away went a whole lot of posts. But since I am not a mod I cannot confirm this.

I like the post reduction thing... it seemed people were competing to get as many in as they can with trivial posts replies . Ha ha maybe I'm talking about my own trivial posts......oh well, live long and prosperous :D

somebody (or something) is deleting posts, that's what causes it to go down, they got rid of the member delete option on another forum I'm on because it got out of hand and was causing the site rating to drop

pruning is required to keep things from getting seriously out of hand...but this monumental change in posts counts must have been brought on by something else, like section post counting rules
