make it easier to navigate and improve the search

this would be a much better forum, if it were easy to find discussions about particular issues. The search usually turns up things totally unrelated to what was being searched for.

Its why you need to use the Advanced Search to narrow the results down to a particular section.

Then you might need to use quotes for multiple words.
Say you're searching for threads on water pumps.
If you type Water Pump you'll get threads with water and pump in it.
If you type "Water Pump" you get threads with only water pump in it.

Sometimes... using Google to search within the site also works best.
Not saying its perfect... but this method definitely helps.

It's always seemed pretty hit or miss to me, too. The quotes don't seem to work. So I usually have better luck with google.

Google Search!

I think the addition of an in-site google seach function would be killer. Link to sign up is here: http://www.google.com/sitesearch/ Put the google search box right underneath the ad banner!

I think I'm going to add the site seach link into my signiture, but for everyone else, here it is. Kinda complicated, but meh, it's just a link.
Google Search RX8Club.com
Then after Site:RX8Club.com just put whatever you're searching for. (Quotations Help!)
