I started doing this for Forum/Club leaders on a site I used to Admin; then asked and had it approved on Cycleforums... www.cycleforums.com/nsr is where the locals hang out, on the forum.

When meeting new people, who aren't on the forom, it's a pain to say "Okay...go to RX8club...then scroll down to regional forums...then find us there...

Especially when leaving a note for somebody....

I think it'd be great to have the regional forums like this:


www.rx8club.com/nw for the NorthWest Forum
www.rx8club.com/west for the West Forum
.....

etc...

Problem with this idea is that the directory structure for vBB (the forum software we use) isn't set up to do things with subdirectories for regionals and such. Instead you get to the subforums via the forum id, such as https://www.rx8club.com/mountain-forum-46/ .
