I suggest we have a how-to section

There are LOTS of EXCELLENT directions scattered around this board, where people have taken the time to expalin, step-by-step how to do things, often including pics of the procedure. These are incredibly helpful, but can be hard to find. I'd suggest that under the "Tech and Performance" section, we create a HowTo thread, then move all the procedure-related posts to it.

In fact (given the authority to do so) I'd be happy to hunt down and move all the posts into this new forum for you, as well as to moderate it. As an engineering physicist, maintaining a forum like the one I'm proposing is right up my alley. I've also got experience moderating on several other boards as well.

This is a great idea, Omicron. If it does get off the ground, would you be able to retitle the threads whose titles aren't informative? That would insure that the archive would be easy to use.

Yup, that's what I'd do as I move them.

I'm working with our developer on a knowledge base ... instead of just a thread, something more functional. This is definately our our short-term to-do list.
