At the moment, there aren't enough threads on the subject to warrant it's own section.

Sputnik,
I understand your position of not wanting to add a section if there are not enough threads to discuss it, but maybe if there was a section dedicated to tires/wheels it spark more threads.

Any possibilty of a trial time period maybe?

Don't they fit under the aftermarket peformance category? Maybe if we started getting more posts in there about tires and wheels, and a need was shown, the head honchos would create a separate section.

really uncessesary... there are only so many wheels and tyres in the first place: it's really just a sub category which deserves (and could really only garner) a few threads in the AfterMarket Performance section... already i've started a Favourite Tyre thread, which is still alive... or there's at least a doopie...

anyhoo, it's not unique enough or complex enough as an issue to really warrant its own section.

i'm going to have to disagree with you: all of the wheel and tyre concerns can be taken care of in like 2 threads... there really isn't enough to say about one tyre or wheel in particular to really warrant its own thread, maybe just a few posts about one or the other...

I could see a need for it in the future but not right now. When people start taking delivery and wanting to upgrade wheels/tires and suspension then we will add one. Then we can reply to posts like :

Yo, I've got my 8 slammed 2" with Eibachs/Tokicos. Can I fit and roll with bling 20's if I get the off-set right?
:D

Wheels/tires should fall under the suspension forum if anything imo.
