This MAY have been posted and I'm probably breaking my own rule.

But I see that we have a huge issue with "noobs," posting the same daily things about RX8's.

A simple solution? Before you can make your first post, or first 5 posts, you have to read through the noob threads. Or only make those "noob," threads available until they read through them.


Just a suggestion.

 

how would you control that ? even if there was a way to do it programatically, there is nothing that would keep people from just clicking on each of the threads and not read through them.

 

Simple VB script would handle it. If <= then.

Hell I'm still a noob compaired most people here. I like that idea of a small quiz,great suggestion

 

The quiz is a decent idea. Even if it just makes them do a search, I think it would be useful.

I'd still question how effective it would be at the end of the day. It's like being under 18 when they ask for age verification on a site. People will figure out how to fake it.
