Note: I don't disbelieve you all. Just providing counterpoint that this isn't a universal issue.

Perhaps turning notifications off, then saving, then on again, and saving? Maybe the switch got thrown in the wrong direction somehow on a server crash?

Tried that and waited 24 hrs between the Disable and Enable notification selection.
Still no notifications. It appears to affect a large portion of the users of the forum.

So who is working and who is not?
Any corelation with accts made before a certain date or after a certain date?
Or who know what else.

I still do not get any notifications but I'm guessing it's an email issue not this website...

Who else here uses Comcast as their email provider? Maybe this and certain other ISPs are actively blocking these notifications as spam. This could explain why some but not all users are affected.

bse changed the target email in his account, and he is getting the emails now. Try to set up a gmail account or something and test it? It could be getting blocked at the isp's server, before it even gets to your account.

Yeah, I am still not seeing anything to my comcast.net addresses. In fact, I was locked out of my account for almost a week after I changed my email address back and forth, and forgot that I couldn't receive the activation email.

Thanks to Zoom44 for getting my account restored and the email changed! Btw, I currently have my registered email set to a Gmail address, and notifications do go through just fine.

He's not on the site atm. If this is important, you may want to PM him.

I am faced with the same question. To receive email from rx8club.com I have changed to an old hotmail (msn.com) account and are receiving email now. However I tried to change back and of course I could not get the activation email and had to change back to my old one. I am now forwarding rx8club mail to my original email account.

My original email account (sbcglobal.net is a yahoo account) gets email from anywhere else in the world. I have checked filters and spam folders etc... I dont know what else to do?

Any ideas?
