hummmmm seems that everyone with @comcast.net email accounts it doesn't work, including mine

 

here is an idea...create another email account non-comcast for free

then POP3 forward the account to your comcast account

then change your RX8club email address to this address new email address

btw I recommend Gmail in all situations if u are interested in dumping comcast all together for instance

I'm on Aol and Comcast .... neither seem to allow e-mail notifications anymore.

Create a Gmail, Hotmail, or YahooMail account. They all apparently work.

The problem still exists, as far as I know. Nothing was "fixed." We just realized that you can work around the problem by getting your email through certain providers like those listed above.

 

just had the problem with earthlink i just had to go in and check my suspect email. it was all there. checked the box to add to inbox, then checked the domain names to let in.

i am guessing rx7 club changed something!!

my email notifications arent working yet

right now i have my email set to my aol email. Last time I tried to change it myself I never got the confirmation email in my new gmail account and i became locked out of my own screename and was unable to post.

Maybe an admin can change my email address for me without the need of a confirmation email?

 

I am getting email notifications again. Not sure why, but my inbox was full of them today. There goes my productivity at work.

That happened to me too, just try a gmail account....I get ALL the responses now!

 

I do have a gmail account. I tried changing the current email address in my account to my gmail account and i never recieved the confirmation email. Somehow from then on I was locked out of my account till i was helped by an admin. Scared to go through that hassle again.

didn't have to do anything - road runner doesn't appear to have an issue with the club.

 

My e-mail notification stopped about 5/15. I started getting e-mail notifications again on 8/13. They seem to be working now.

I too did not have to change anything. Big thanks to everyone involved in getting it fixed!

 

nope I haven't recieved any email from the forum. Any chance you could change my email on the forum for me?
