You got the part about "boot" right. Haha, I love puns.

In truth, I like the M coupes infinitely more than the dinky roadsters.

It's ugly IMO....but I watched a test drive on SPEED channel (don't remember which program) and that thing hauls ***. The M coupe is a perfect example of function over form. It's definitely no worse looking than the last gen M coupe.

I thought so too... until I saw it at the last Tokyo Motorshow. It's better looking in person... actually kinda hot. Again until... I looked at the M6. Now THAT car is pure sex...

I like it. Not sure why, as I usually don't like cars that are terribly crazy looking, but it's got a certain aura of awesome about it. I'd drive one.

in real life looking at it, its strikingly small, very short both in height and length. I like it much better than the previous M Hatchback.

I think I saw that same car up there in May. If not there is more than 1 running around up there.

Convertible doesn't work on the 6 Series/M6. Looks a bit ugly to me too. But hardtop... the M6 is so sexy... I'd even take a regular 6 Series...

Looks sick. I'd love one if it weren't for the fact that I could get a corvette for the same dough.

6 Series convertible doesn't work? Are you kiddiing me? That's one of the sweetest rides our there! My brother has a 645 coupe and you wouldn't believe the attention that thing gets . . . and it's not even the M!

The Z4 M coupe is one of the few cars I would consider to replace my 8.

Funny, I'm looking at maybe buying a used 1999 M coupe. I like the look on the prev. gen more than the new gen.

Here's a pic of the old gen M coupe: http://www.cartype.com/images/page/bmw-M-coupe_FS2.jpg

They look even meaner in person.

There is not a single BMW that looks attractive in their current lineup. They have all been banglified. The new 3-series looks about as exciting as a Camry, the 5-series went from elegant sexiness to drabness, and the 6 and 7 series look like bloated oil tankers. The classiness of the old BMW lineup is lost.

^^^It definitely looks better than the rest of the lineup. But still, it can't touch the E46 M3 or the old M5, in my opinion, for looks. Those two cars are gorgeous.

I agree with Japan8 on this one. The M6 is not my favorite BMW.....but the coupe version definitely looks better than the vert. I think it's the front-end that kills it for me with the 6-series....and the Z4 series for that matter.

So, it runs rings around the RX? Hmmm... And at only $13,000 dollars more! Hey, that's a heck of a deal (sarcasm intended).

Mid-range pricing for a Z4 coupe is around $44,000.
