So if you are keen, but have not contacted one of the organisers, then please do so quickly we need to make a decision about going ahead with the event by the middle of next week.

xxup,
Let me know if you're 1 short.
I won't be tracking in anger but I'll enter and pay full freight if it means the difference between the event proceeding or not. I can always do some driving miss daisy laps for the hell of it.

My 2c worth.....
If memory serves me well, the main reason for having the Nats over two days was expected entries of 50 or more.I was sceptical at the time, and it's now obvious these numbers ain't gonna happen.
My suggestion would be to cut back to one day.The cost per entrant for two days, with only 30 or so cars, will be way two much.30 cars will have so much track time the second day would be unecessary.
I also wouldn't be suprised if the two day idea was restricting some people from entering.
I am sure the event could be run on one day,at greatly reduced cost, just as well.Does anyone even know what was to happen on the second day?
As Rod has now stated he will be there,my offer still stands along with Rod,to help with any driver training,or advice on how we ran the Track last year.
Just my thoughts on the subject...
Cheers
Len

I tend to agree with Len but since I'm only tracking in a lazy fashion I'll leave it up to the diehards to contribute to this debate in earnest.
My biggest concern is the potential for fatigue on the second day (particularly in the arvo) to cause accidents. The drive home is also a problem after two full days of thrashing around a track with 'refreshments' inbetween.
