What are some good jobs for the summer? Need some extra cash and have a lot of free time on my hands.

 

the man-***** business is pretty lucrative.... just have no standards and be deserate for money.

stay away from crack though... because man-crack ****** are the worst.


Seriously though: umm how old are you? education? details help. I hated summer jobs because usually the people you are begging for a job from know you will only be there 2-3 months then quit, so they dont hire you.

My 1st job was working at a shitty feed store because my dad made me, it sucked. (i was 16) Now that I'm 24 and outta college life is much better.

 

Hrm... I can ***** myself to 250 women and charge $10 or ***** myself to 25 fat women for $100... Fat women need love too... They just have to pay...

I've heard people i should just go to city hall and see what jobs they have in my city, work at a bank, or just find a job at the mall. Anyone have any experience with a summer job they can share?

I was thinking of working at a restaurant so i can make some tips.

 

waiting tables can give you a pretty decent income if you find a good gig. ive also heard that working for a bank isn't too bad you get to hold a bunch of cash all day.

valet parking is also pretty cool.....you can make alot of tips depending on where you valet at.

 

Get a job at a tire store... Then you can get the hook up for wheels and tires for your ride.

My summer job ended up as a full time-do it while u are still going to school full time-job...it sucks...summer jobs=evil

Are you 21 yet (bartending)? My friend is a bartender in college and she makes insane money. But she's got *****. And men are stoopid with their money when they see *****.

If you're not 21, work retail at a "fun" store like a Circuit City or Best Buy, Virgin Megastore, Barnes and Noble, etc. A retail store like those where the work is not too grueling and you can meet cool people and be around cool things like books and music. I worked a summer at Circuit City and I looooved it. Money wasn't great but I just needed pocket change.

Or you can lifeguard at the YMCA or beach.

Yeh, i was thinking of working at Best Buy. Bartending sounds like a fun job but im not 21 yet and girl bartenders would make a lot more tips than guys for sure. My friend's were lifeguards at RAGING WATERS which is close to where i live but they told me they hated it... They were treated like crap and kids wouldn't listen to them...

I was also thinking working at the library because i did some volunteer work there and a friend of mine works there and all he does is pretend to put books back.

I'm actually applying for the courthouse as a student worker where i can get a lot of hours since i have a lot of time on my hands and i heard that the work is real easy.

But the job i want to do is work for some local car shop or wholesale aftermarket parts dealer where i can get worker discounts and dibs on new items for my car and maybe even sponsorships. But we can't all have our dream jobs...

My friend worked at the adult super stor that was open 24/7 and it had a peep-show. Its was cool

The best summer job I ever had was working for a wrecking company.

I wore a hard hat and carried a 16 pound sledgehammer. I got to break stuff all day long.
