05 Winning Blue 6 speed GT in So Cal - 22.5K or Trade for 2006 S2000

The car is in excellent condition. 18K miles. Asking for $22,500. Looking to sell soon. Please look at my signature for the list of upgrades. I still have the stock fuel door, corners and sways. Also included is an unmounted factory spare tire kit. Please PM any questions. Thanks!

Edit: Clear title. Have the title in hand.

Also interested in a trade for a 2006 S2000.

I have a 05 Winning blue 6spd, would you be willing to put the car back to stock and sell me the clear corners, and sway bars, k&n filter and fuel door?

I will do that if the buyer insists on stock parts. I have everything except the stock air-filter.

S is a great car, I don't really like the 06 though. Drive by wire is kind of annoying at times. I really like my 2000 S though, it's considerably more raw than 04+. If you plan on autocrossing the car I'd highly look into a pre 03, the higher redline as well as better handling will help a lot. And if you think the RX8 handles good then wait till you drive an S on a track, it makes the 8 feel like a boat.

cosmos, the 06's dbw has almost no effect on the throttle response. i own an 03, and i drive my friend's ap2 every once in a while, and i've driven the 06 as well.

anyways, to the OP, where are u located? i'm in diamond bar. i might drop by with my friend to check out ur car in person

u can PM me ur info if u prefer. but i think i'd be helpful to let other potential buyers know ur location

Cosmos, this car will be my daily driver. So, for safety reasons, stablity control is a must for me on any RWD car. I would prefer to have the pre 04 model too, but unfortunately it does not have the VSA.

Sorry, this has nothing to do with the sale, but I've never heard such BS in my life. There is a "VSA off" button that turns the VSA system completely off. People on the s2ki forum have tested it with and without VSA, and it works. Besides, why would you turn it off in the first place?? Stability assists and DBW have been a common element in professional racing for a long time; why wouldn't it ported over to newer sports cars?

As for your other comments: 9k redline is for show and adds no performance gains. I rather have the extra torque from AP2 for daily driving, anyday. Every review and car show I've seen shows that the AP2 handles and performs just as well as AP1, but without the "snap oversteer".

(I own an AP2, and have driven an AP1 but not the 06.)

Anyways, bump for a nice clean car.
