Hye Guys.... i just would like to srat a thread about the best air intake system for our car. For those who already installed the aftermarket air intake system, maybe you guys can share your review about the outcome after installing it... and for those who are thinking about installing one... this might be a good thread to browse around

So far from talking to a lot of owners, and acutally doing a thorough research of each and every intake, actually took me a good 4 1/2 hours to do on my day off or work....

Heres a list of how the best intakes to ok intakes:

1) Racing Beat REVi w/ Air Duct
2) AEM CAI or MS CAI the same design
3) HKS Suction Intake
4) Umnitza/simota
5) K&N Typhoon Short Ram 2Gen
6) BLITZ SUS
7) Weapon R

basically how it goes, and clearly you know it's not going to give you more HP, but just more breathing air for your 8....

 

i got umnitza and love it. many on here drool over the REVi. i like the way it looks but think its a lil pricey. i don;t like the blitz or HKS cause the filters suck (if i find the test i'll link it). i had the AEM on my focus and it was great theres a few opinions

 

I have the K&N Typhoon Short Ram and i think it does a good job. Has a bit of a seat of the pants power addition. Sound can be loud but not loud enough to **** me off yet. Makes a great replacement for your horn when your pissed at someone doing something stupid. Just rev the engine at them!
