Lightest Exhaust??

Been reading up and it seems the RB Race is the lightest (25lbs) but doesn't use stock exit with only one pipe. Then I read that the Magnaflow is only 34 lbs with a nice sound.

Does anyone know about HKS, Greddy, or MS dual can? I have the MS on backorder and was wondering before it is actually paid for.

I have the JIC Titanium it is 18 lbs. Greddy is about 35-36 lbs. The Corksport is around 29-30 lbs (though very loud for my taste). When I checked with Mazdatrix they weighed the Magnaflaw unit and it was like 36 pounds (even though they were smaller).

No, the rx7store.net catback is only a couple/few pounds lighter than stock.

Isn't there someone sporting a 12lb single exhaust? I think he had it custom built in Denver.

I have the RB single and I think it should be lighter.

When I weighed the stock exhaust I got 39.6 lbs, and when I weighed the rx7store catback I got 37.2 so it was a 2.4 lb difference. Oh well, not as much as I had hoped.

I am seriously considering going custom single some day...

Where did you find your JIC Titanium at?

Thanks for all the info fellas. Maybe a custom single would be the best bet with a Magnaflow muffler.

Instead of bustn' peoples ***** all the time why don't you help. I read the "sticky" and it doesn't mention weights for MS or Greddy. Damn these boards are becoming so immature. I wish I had enough time in my life to post 2500+ times and go board to board just to give people a hard time!! !@#$ing kids these days.

I don't normally get involved in these little spats....but.....

Ironic and a bit hypocritical that you would reference immaturity, and in the very next sentence you make a crass, unfounded, and inflammatory allegation for the mere purpose of lashing out, which in itself is pointless and immature. Your comments serve no purpose other than helping keep your ego afloat. Before tossing out labels and resorting to name-calling, how about you do some self-reflection so you can avoid these hypocritical moments in your life.

the JIC should be the lightest of all but the price alone will just cut your throat right there. (1.3K+)

I search my @ss off, and not just on this site either, to make myself a better informed person. Did you even try to search "lightest exhaust"? The obvious answer is no. There's nothing immature about expecting you to make some minimal effort on our own. Do yourself a favor and grow the f-ck up.

and while you're at it, take a peak at how silly you look for not finding such an easy answer:

I'm old enough to be your father and you're probably not smart enough to consider his advice either ...

If you actually did a search, you would have found out exhaust swap has not produced significant power gains.

IF I told you that I can jump like Neo all the way to the moon, will you believe me ?

19 HP is just pure BS. None of the 8 Exhaust can even give anybody more than 5 hp.

Maybe you can search a little harder
