I just installed my Rotary Extreme intake and I love the sound. I bought it used and it already had the insulation done to it to keep sound done a little. sounds really nice. 1 question though. I hear a little pop when I rev it up and let off, is this normal? I can't imagine just an intake making the car backfire.

i bet you are just revving more and now you are hearing the normal pop pop noise that comes from the exhaust

probably, also now that i tried listening to the motor without any noise like the radio, i also hear a tiny noise coming from my tranny while in neutral but it goes away when i press the clutch, it also get's quieter as the ngine warms up. tell me this is normal too.

 

With backfire you wont get any tailgaters =D, its a feature of the intake.
