Wyoming Anyone?

How about any 8 owners in the cowboy state? I'm in Casper and I've only seen one blue one. I saw a yellow one in Cheyenne too. Maybe the fact that there's no Mazda dealership up here is the problem!

I live in Cheyenne and own the yellow RX8. There are no to many in Wyoming, there are about 5 in Cheyenne, and have seen one in Riverton.

WY RX8s

There are two in Sheridan that I know of. Mine is a Sunlight Silver, and there is a B Black as well.

It's actually kinda nice. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a ferrari the way people look at me around town

Cool New One Coming to Casper

Hello: Just purchased a Red 2005 Rx-8 Manual...only about 7,000 miles and loaded. Got it on Ebay from Missouri...having it shipped to Cheyenne in about two weeks. Hell of a deal I couldn't pass up. Good to know fellow Wyomingnites.

I guess I've been falling down on the job lately.... I'm in Laramie, there's three here including mine, (TiGrey), a blue and a red AT.
Jensf1 - was that you I saw a couple of months ago on 220 heading into Casper? Or was it someone else with a silver?

Almost Here!

The transport company called and said my red mica 8 will be in Cheyenne on April 12th. Let the fun begin.

Later

Hopefully in the near future. My RX-8 is at Burt Mazda in Denver right now getting a full diagnostic, check for recalls, and oil change/tire rotation. Just a formality to make sure everything is ok since I bought it unseen. I should have it in Casper next Monday.

First mod hopefully will be an Ipod kit then an exhaust.

Way cool! I make it up to Casper once-a-month for the meeting I'm going up for today, and when the weather is good, I take my baby for that trek through the Shirley. I'll give a little more notice than a day or two next time around Just the same, my meeting is at the Parkway Plaza.
Later!

One other thing, if/when anyone needs servicing, I've had the best luck with Spradley-Barr in Ft. Collins. I tried Dineen, (Cheyenne), once, and swear I'll never do that again. Spradley is open on Saturdays, and have been going to them for the last two-and-a-half years with no problems.

Today the highway patrolman said that mine was the first 8 that he had seen - he really liked it. Gave me a ticket anyway. They do attract attention.

Finally Got It

Well I picked up my RX-8 in Cheyenne and then went to Denver to have Burt Mazda check it out. Got an oil change and tire rotation while I was at it.

Everything is great, a few exterior blemishes (hardly noticeable) and just a few interior scratches but overall a great experience and $14,000 savings to boot.

No doubt...also just in time to detail it out while it snows.

Well Hey, We survived the winter, maybe it's time to bring this Wyoming thread back to life. Just a reminder, I'm here in Casper, I've now seen 4 - count 'em 4 RX'8s in town. One black, One Silver, One Blue and of couse the most beautiful of all my 6 speed velocity Red. How about the rest of you in the cowboy state?

I'm still here - lurking. I guess it's been a while since I was in Casper with my 8... I may need to shoot up there one of these days. There are four here in Laramie that I know of; my Ti Grey, a Blue, a Red, and a Silver. It's beginning to sound like we all need to get together for a photo op! I can't speak for the silver here, and I already know the status of the red - but I know the blue owner - when they have the time - would probably be interested. :D
Glad to see this thread brought back from the dead... have you still got much snow in the higher elevations? We do. There are several places in the Snowys that are still inaccessible due to drifted snow. That may change after this weekend, though. (Mostly above 9.5K').

I'm jealous of you Wyoming owners! I'm in Salt Lake and can't find but two or three owners who are club members, and they don't even post very often. You folks get up to Teton/Yellowstone much?

A photo shoot would be very cool, I would be down for sure. Maybe we can cook something up, I don't personally know any of the other RX8 owners here in town, anyone else on these boards from Casper at all?
