i was just wondering what a good price for powdercoating the stock wheels would be? i have a place that will do sanding and coating for $600 but i think that might be too much. thanks for the responses in advanced

 

ive had places here in orlando quote me for 120 a piece (back when i had 17's on my old car) not to steal your thread but does anyone know any average chroming prices per rim to get them chromed????

 

i thought about getting my stock 18's powdercoated... there is a place here that told me that they would do them for $50 a wheel. they do a lot of custom stuff

 

what color are you planning to powdercoat your stock wheels? Im thinking about doing gold, since I have a black rx-8. good luck and post some pics and updates on it, Im still looking for shops down here in Sd, Cali that can do it for a good price.

The rotary center caps are pricey, about $29.00 Each. I have a set of four OEM's that I painted Black you can have all of them for $20.00.

 

do those rotor center caps match the black or were those painted to match?

 

Unless your nose is right in front of the rim you can’t tell. I used black model paint and a then sprayed clear coat on it. I probably could have used a glossier paint to get an exact match.

 

$275 for all 4? I want to buy them! What payments do you take??

 

The maker of this thread wanted to know what it cost to get OEM rims powder coated. I should have been a bit clearer; I am not selling my rims. I was just posting what I paid to get mine coated.
