Just a bit of trivia: Tsuchiya Keiichi is known as the Drift King in Japan.

EDIT: Ohh, hehe, I initially watched the video at work with no sound. I didn't realize how obvious it was that it was Tsuchiya when they were talking. I mentioned the above cause I just caught his name when they were switching camera views.

i liked how Tsuchiya was laughing as he was driving back on the track after spinning out.

 

The guy driving the 7 is definetely the coolest!

Haha, maybe he was trying to remember the last time he spun out like that. I suppose if I had his technical prowess at driving cars I might actually have found that to be exhilarating, had I been the one driving. As it is though, I probably would have peed my pants a little.

 

You can hear him laughing as he was sliding towards the cameraman. He's nuts.

That looked scary, fun, and it was funny to watch. All of them had a good laugh over it but I'm surprised the AWD car did the worse in the rain. The ABS actually messed things up...very strange.

 

i figured the supra would be the first to go, but then again im not a racing guru. yet

 

yeah that went exactly opposite of how i thought it would go, i would think the big heavy supra would have understeered from the hydroplaning, the FD would follow and the evo would do well being a car designed from a rally racer built for less than ideal conditions. i was getting scared myself watching tsuchiya making so many inputs in the steering wheel on the FD just to keep it straight on the straightway!

 

Its kinda ironic that the all wheel drive evo was the first to go.
