Anybody know the weight of one 18" wheel with the tire and without the tire is?

 

i dunt have a RX8 so it would be really helpfull if someone could tell me what size of tires the stock take, what is stock and what is acceptable and the ups and downs? or point me in the right directtion. THANKS

 

OEM 18" wheels are 8" wide with a 50 or 48" offset (I forget which but thats close enough). I believe I read that they weight 25 lbs.

 

apparently there are 2 different manufacturers for the OEM wheels, so weight seems to vary...but ive heard anything from 21.5-25 pounds. not so sure about wheel with tire, i think ive read high 40's....but don't quote me on that.

stock is 225-45-18, tires (potenzas) are very good on dry, not so great (maybe even terrible) on wet/cold/snow, but it is a SUMMER performance tire, & an expensive one at that. 225 dollars a piece.
