Suspension ?

ok... im looking into purchasing a sus. system. im on a budget.... so what's the best bang for my buck without sacrificing quality?

no takers.... ok.. let me narrow this down a bit... i want to do lowering springs only... which would u prefer: tanabe GF, NF or Tein S Techs?

The information your wanting is already here. Just a matter of searching for it. There are threads comparing the springs you've listed. Again, just gotta search for them. I would do it for you but I'm too lazy.

Changing out sway bars alone makes a big difference.

Whiteline sway bars for both front and back will be $250 brand new.

Upgrading the springs on stock shocks means you *have* to stick with softer springs, like Racing Beat. The stock shocks don't have enough damping to control stiffer springs, resulting in a bouncy ride and bad handling.

Personally, I'd reccomend getting new shocks before anything else. Mazdaspeed dampers are quite affordable.

Another voice for Sway Bars. They will flatten the car in the corners, without ruining the cars ride.

cool... i didn't even think about sways... i was just going to lower it in preperation for wheels/tires. my car is strictly a daily driver. i do not go to the track at all... none around here..... but sways will definately change the way this badass car handles!!!

Okay, to back up the other side of the house: I'm a spring-only guy. Replaced factories with Tein S-Tech. Got the look I wanted; ride is fine. No track time; I drive about 80 miles a day, and have been on them since May 05 happily. Sways may be in my future, as an excuse to do something to the car.
