Question for you Shinka owners out there...

I purchased these wheels last night, and I was wondering if the Shinka wheels are an old school true polished wheel, or if they are clear coated like other factory "polished" wheels...... if they are true polished what is everyone polishing them with??? and if they are cleared are you just using conventional wax???? Also, does the shinka have different center caps or do they use the silver painted one???

Thanks
BEN

They seem to be just clear coated man. I've got nothing to really compare it to. I think the same center cap comes with the Shinka. I bought the RX-8 cap. For cleaning them and the rest of the car...I use most of the products here.

Might be a little cheaper than Zaino...but just as good...not too well known though.

I do not think they are clear-coated. During make-ready for my Shinka, the porters used their standard wheel cleaner on mmine and ruined the finish. All of the droplets of wheel cleaner turned the finish black. I would be very careful.
