How much you've spent on FI?

Let's face it, the stock 8 is somewhat lack of power. I don't do street race but I do some canyon runs w/ friends once a while. Going downhill is fun, but uphill..........

I just wanna get a rough idea on how much money you guys spent on FI in average (including whatever parts, and labor if it applied - that you needed to get your turbo / supercharger to run fine)... I don't aim too hight, my goal is to make the 8 to be competitive, not "smoking" other sport cars.

I won't count the new tires I needed to handle the extra power!

I honestly don't want to think about how much I've spent on FI so far, but I said at least $5k.

Does this count everything, or just the turbo accessories themselves? Should you count gauges, gauge pod, turbo timer, exhaust, midpipe...?

No.
He said just the cost to get it up and running correctly. kit, labor, tuning, ......
I didn't add my exhaust, midpipe, wheels/tires, flywheel, clutch,...... That easily put me over the $8k range.

I definitely think that you guys should include everything you've added to the vehicle to support the FI. If wider wheels and better tires are needed for traction....go ahead and add that in. Gauges, pods, clutch, exhaust......if you changed it, chances are we would want to also. A total of everything would be helpful to those seriously thinking about FI.
