How to deal with boost creep?

I am currently running the Greddy turbo kit..

I am often enough dealing with boost creep and boost spiking..........so on the safe side I would like to install a external wastegate to help remedy the problem....

What would be the ideal size? I have access to a Tial 46 with a .5 bar spring.

I aware of all the articles stating a smaller wastegate is better matched a smaller turbo running higher boost..and a larger wastegate is matched better with a larger turbo running lower boost.....I have also read that that exhaust gas output on the rotary does change alot of these rules... I notice the RX7 guys are typically running 46mm.

Any input?

You could always port out your internal wastegate.

I am using a Profec B Spec II but had problems before the boost controller was placed in. The problems became more significant when my mid pipe was gutted as well.

Hey Scott, I haven't heard back from you in regards to the Modified Mag situation. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

The reason i'd go with the Tial 46 is because of the components it is made with. It is a nickel based compound for the housing and an inconel valve which can withstand temperatures of 2000+ Farenheit, which makes it ideal for a rotary. Where as the 44 uses a stainless valve/nickel housing and a vband assembly, the 38 uses a stainless valve and housing (and isn't big enough for your application).
