Just got tired of the 18s... so I thought I'd put these 17s on.

Ok, I'd never get bored of the factory 18s (one of my favorite things about the 8). These are my winter wheels/tires. It was between these and some chrome rims, and the chrome just didn't go with the Ti. Gray. When I got home, I realized I actually really like the way these wheels look. What do you all think?

 

i like them as winter wheels, as many people put hideous wheels on when the winter comes around becasue they're a cheap solution that only needs to last a few months. yours are pretty good.

 

that is a VERY well lit garage. I'm imprssed.

^^ I'm more mpressed by how clean and uncluttered it is....I can hardly see the walls in mine...and my car sure as hell doesn't fit

Oh - and nice rims! :D Those snow rims are better than a lot of ppl's 'aftermarket' regular rims.

About the garage, I have to make a confession that will reveal how much of a photo geek I am. That photo is actually 7 different exposures, taken using a tripod, then Photoshop to merge them to "High Dynamic Range" to bring out the shadows and tone down the highlights, and then result was color corrected and a curve was used to make the contrast more interesting. Sorry

Actually all that stuff actually makes it come out pretty much the way we see it, but the camera by itself wouldn't do such a good job.

i've driven my 8 in the snow with stock tires and it sucks ***, almost died like 50 times coming home from vegas..hahaha, how does the 8 handle with snow tires on?

 

Yea that i-15 can kill ya if you dont have the right rollers on your car. I'm going to LA this comeing Mon,Tue an Wed.

Those are some pretty sweet rims. I agree with a previous poster in that they look better than some other people's aftermarket rims.
