Asking $21,000. Mileage: as of 2.15.06 : 35,600 miles.
Mods: mainly the CZ Stage 1. Have the foglight mod. If you are unfamiliar with either of those, just ask for more info. I have a motion sensor upgrade for the alarm system, as of yet not installed. Put on lighter lug nuts. Have some screens for the front oil cooler spaces and I believe the larger radiator opening - again not installed. Also have the RX-8 logo in the center stop light. Have an RX-8 sunscreen that is used nearly every day. Generally use driving gloves to keep the steering wheel and shifter looking new besides grip. Generally, the car looks and smells new -non-smoker car.
Has brand new battery, upgraded starter, new plugs (redesigned plugs for primary). Still has the OEM Bridgestones that probably have 2K-5K life left depending on your driving style and opinion of them. They are getting a little rough.

Can help with pick up / delivery anywhere within about 300-500 miles of Memphis - Dallas, St Louis, Little Rock, Nashville/Knoxville, etc.

Why sell? I love this car. But I still have my Miata and will be buying a gen 2 Honda Civic Hybrid (HCH II).
Have a 70 mile commute and in my older age (45) have decided to help reduce pollution and save money on my fillups.

If you don't want the CZ or the sunshield, I can remove them and and drop a few $ from the price. IF you don't want the RX-8 logo in the stop light I can remove that as well.

Forgot a few small mods:
I have the cargo net (port installed); an "RX-8" logo in the high brake lense - it's 'white', not black/stealth mode; I have a RX-8 logo sunshield fit for the car-the kind that rolls up and is secured with velcro, which is used most of the time.
It's not "pristine" - I drive this car. BUT - people ask if mine is new; it smells like new inside; the paint is all in excellent shape. It's been garaged all of the time, except from 8/15 to 11/ 8 of this year while moving from PA to TN. It has a few paint chips; some scratches on the door sill - some from my own feet - most likely from dealer folks - same for a few scratches near the ignition key hole - all from them. Seems like there's something else I can't remember except when I'm driving it. *bump*

I am new to the forum. I actually just singed up today. I am looking for a red RX8 of my own and was looking through the classifieds for one when I came across yours. I currently live in VA but don't mine making the trip if it's worth it. But I have a few concerns before buying.

What's the mileage as of today on the car? Being that the car has 35k already in February and does not have the leather interior that I was looking for I would try to buy it for $18,000. What do you think? Can we make a deal happen.

I sold it yesterday. With 36,969 miles.
