Powder coated OEM RIM's

Has anyone power coated their OEM rims black .

Any pics ?

I ran a search and found nothing .

 

I know there was a few who did..but I'm at work..when I get home I'll try and find the pics!

that first one is strange looking at a quick glance... looked like the car behind it was the same care with how the picture lined it up lol

 

^you take that back that's a stationwagon..no way our car looks like a stationwagon...hahahahahaha

 

the yellow looks great.... I don't know where to get something like that done in toronto ....

anyone...

 

ask any rim and tire shop
they should be able to get someone for you
or maybe a paint shop

check my pics link, my are black, not powder coated but they are black, I went with a cheaper solution to see how long it would last then maybe powder coat later. Aircraft stripper to get the finish off, prime like crazy, black rustoleum like crazy, worked for me! Holds up so far, couple of months with only a couple of touch ups

what does the shop do when you curbed your rim? do they jsut sand it down or is there like a rim filler? lol..?

 

alot of the times they grund it off, depending on the shop

 

My stock wheels have some many chips on them I cant wait to get my new wheels on
