Track Day Photos from RoadAtlanta

A couple of the guys in our local group were out at the Panoz Track Day this past weekend at RoadAtlanta. I wasn't able to drive it, so I took pictures. There are some of SilverEIGHT, and some of Marietta8 in his LS1 powered 2nd Gen 7. And then there are a few of the other machinery that showed up. I have not worked on all of the ones I shot just yet, but these few are ready for public consumption. Just thought I would share.

SilverEIGHT in Turn 12

SilverEIGHT approaching turn 5

Marietta8 on the back straight

Marietta8 chasing down some little engines...

Must have been Paparazzi Appreciation day at Road Atlanta...

Managed to get an 8...and 2 911's

This one is for TA, he likes these little Bimmers...

And my favorite car of the weekend, and one of my favorite shots. Sorry, I had to post it.

Yeah, I wouldn't go out there either given that you suck so bad at Live For Speed.

J/K. Great pics! Road Atlanta looks killer.

yeah, but you are just an autocrosser

I am driving in 9 days at Roebling, anc cant really afford to do do track weekends in one month.

I really am better in a real car than LFS.

boring is ******** cones in a parking lot for two hours, while shifter carts wiz by and make your ears bleed. But I have nothing against autocross, it was just murder on my knees standing around all day for 4 minutes of seat time.

Excitement is Turn 12 at Road Atlanta at 80-90 MPH, or going through the esses, (the last picture) at 90-100 MPH.

Glad you guys like the pics, I will try to get some more posted tomorrow night. There were only a few more good ones.

dmp, them is kind words from someone who really knows how to use a camera. Thanks. It is a little soft, I wish I had used a tripod, and manually focused it on the apex of the corner. Oh well, lesson learned.

I will try to get some more posted this evening. I have a few more that are worth sharing.
