well, i finally bit the bullet and ordered new springs and shocks.

hopefully, my distributor will come through and they should be here next week.

i am getting the eibach springs, and the tokico d-spec adjustables.

 

congrats man, suspension is next on my list. how many miles do you have on your stock setup?

on a side note, i was wondering, how do you like those piaa wipers? are they worth 20 bucks a pop?

 

i now have around 21k, bought it used with 7 k in march 05. once i get them in, i am taking it to the dealer for the ball joint recall, so i can get the alignment for free :D

as to the piaa's, i absolutely love them, have had them on every car i have owned since they came out. they also now have a super graphite, which if i remember correctly, will last longer.

 

how do the tokico's adjust? I hope the rears can be adjusted from the bottom, since you can't reach the tops without pulling them out of the car.

please keep us posted, I too am looking at these as an option. It would be nice to be able to adjust them, without removing them.

 

On Racing Beat's website, they make mention of a connecting cable to be able to adjust the rears in the future without having to remove the rear shock.

I'm also interested in these, so any feedback would be great, Lurch.

 

I´m looking at new dampers myself.... However I´m going with the Tein FLEX Dampers along with the EDFC. Should be a nice setup...

 

well, got my springs and dampers today.

springs, typical eibach box, 4 springs, little pamphlet and sticker.

shocks, very impressed. well packaged.

yes, shocks adjust from the top using an included hex tool.

hopefully i will be installing everything tomorrow.

 

well, everything went well, everything is installed. unfortunately, as mentioned earlier, adjustability is definately an issue. rears, only way to adjust them will be to remove the strut assembly. fronts, are a little better, just have to remove the strut tower bar.

overall, i am happy with the ride.
