Sadly today at lunch on the way back to work the car got hit. And if that wasn't bad enough the driver was uninsured and had no license. It didn't do much damage but it looks like the whole thing is going to have to be replaced Anyone know how much a new OEM bumper costs?

When I got backed into, I had to replace my bumper also.
Heres what my Body shop charged me $296.40 for the bumper unpainted, the total for everything including labor, paint and bumper cost the other driver $742.95.
They stated to me that they could not get the bumper already painted from Mazda.
Now the paint dosent match because its Metaliac.

 

ACK I'm going to bitch and bitch if it doesn't match.

 

dont get the EOM, upgrade to a body kit, a fake mazdaspeed kit is like $700 invest like 300-500 for paint your looking at 1000-1200 new bodykit new look..... dont jugde me wrong i would be upset real upset too , but see it as an opportunitty...

It'll cost extra since it is THE Snow Flake Pearl. Granted pearl does look nice, but when they make you call for an online order they could avoid the disclaimer and tying up the phone if they eat the little bit of expense.

Sorry to hear about the mishap though.

If someone doesn't have insurance or license they are still liable.

If they weren't then no one would get insurance.

Do you know if you are getting anything from them?

 

I doubt that I am getting anything from them, I just called up my insurance and they are going to handle it from there. I have the uninsured motorist coverage so I shouldn't have to pay the $500 deductable.

The real crappy thing is the claims adjuster is booked up until Nov. 10th so I have to drive around with a busted bumper until at least then
