Anyone care to share how they wired up their DEFI controller???

To be specific, what wires you tapped into? If I remember correctly (I am geographically separated from my -8), there's a 12V constant, a 12V with ignition on, and a ground wire you have to hook up. Any help would be appreciated, since I'm tackling this as soon as I get home. Thanks.

Scud, have you installed a turbo timer? I combined the install from that, and it was pretty easy. If you look in the DIY section at PURNRG's turbo timer install thread, he shows you where those wires are. Let me know if that helps, if not I'll try to explain a little further.

Scud, here is a good place to mount it, if you haven't already done so.

That's probably where it will start, but eventually I'm going to try my hand at making a custom mount for it out of the ashtray, kinda how PUR NRG mounted his gauges. I figure if I dork it up, I can always just leave the ashtray lid closed.

I was thinking about that too, but I think that I'm going to get a custom pod made to match the piano black texture of radio, to fit where the ashtray is. I want to get another gauge for oil pressure, and air/fuel ratio.

Right on, right on. If I end up screwing up my own mount, I'll get a new ashtray and take it to my stereo guy (who obviously does good work if you've seen any of the pics) and have him do something up for me. Check your PM, by the way.
