Graduate Rebate??
When I first ordered my car in March, my dealer filled out the invoice with all the info.... He also took off $600 as a graduation rebate. Today I found out that the RX-8 is not included in this program (from my dealer)!! However my dealer already signed the document in March. Isn't that legally binding?? Any feedback guys??

Graduation rebate *does* apply on the RX-8, and don't let your dealer tell you otherwise.
I verified this three times over via Mazda USA... you can do it again if you like but I know I'm right because I got the rebate

Don't know if US experience relates to Canadian, but check this thread. If you have the same rebate contract we did, I think you're in good shape. I got the name of the manager who approved the deal and the finance rep who signed it; I dare them to wiggle out, esp if they want their perfect 10's on the customer satisfaction survey!

Yeah $750 cdn, if you go to "build your car" and build an RX-8 it takes off $750 for rebate. If they say it's a no go. I would contact mazda. I'd say that is false advertiseing and they would have to honor it!

Why only $750, when mazda.ca (http://mazda.ca/english/157.htm) lists a 2004 Mazda 6 giving $800 and a 2003 Miata / MPV / B-Series 4x4 all giving $1000 rebate. I thought they based the rebate on the price of the car.

Hi, I check out the mazda site and I can't see how they came up with the $600 figure..
The cash award amounts are as follows:
2002 Model Year Vehicles -$750.00
2003 Model Year Protege / Protege5 - $600.00
2003 Model Year Tribute / B-Series 4x2 and 2004 Model Year Mazda6 - $800.00
2003 Model Year Miata / MPV / B-Series 4x4 - $1000.00
Did the dealership gave you the $600 off or Mazda Canada is giving you the $600 off??

It CLEARLY states $750 rebate on Mazda's website!
Go to mazda maker, build the car and click on graduate rebate. If it is not available that's too bad for Mazda, as it is clearly available according to their website. My dealer said it's available to me as well, mazda can't really argue here, it is in black and white.

Mazda, just took this off of their site!
Must have been a few complaints.
DAMN!
I'm going to get screwed left and right with this one, I was my damn graduate cash, I didn't get it on my current car I want it on my next one.
Plus I have X-plan at work. Hopefully come January they will allow these rebates, and I'll get a GT for the GS price! One can dream right?

Hello Wing. Yes i do sell mazda rx-8's, as well as any other mazda products. When i did seaches for the GS model there are dealerships showing them in their inventory but when i call them they are telling me they are all spoken for. Where abouts are you from and if you would like to chat some more you can email me at scribner99ca@yahoo.com. Hope to hear from you soon and i can see what i can do to get you in to the car you would like.
