Timbo, the Legend.
Timbo, the Legend.
I'm sure Tim has gotten sick of hearing this from me and others, but I would like to once again, formally and publicly, thank Timbo for the superhuman effort he put in over many months in organising the 2005 RX-8 National Meeting at Wakefield Park. From the lead-up info he provided to all, to the collection of the room keys at the end, the whole shebang went off without a hitch. The accommodation was great, the food was excellent and provided with a smile (thanks Debbie and the girls!!), the track was ace, the instructors helpful and friendly, the meeting ran like clockwork and the organisation was just first rate. He even deserves credit for the perfect weather
.
Thanks also to the other organisers in helping to make this weekend one to remember for a long time.
Thanks Tim.
Cheers,
Gomez.

Thanks, guys..but it wasn't just me. There's a whole bunch of you that made suggestions, did stuff...and everyone had the right atttitude. It's hard to screw up in those conditions

(these new smilies offer me far too much choice

Now don't be shy Timbo. It's ok to bask in your glory.
In addition to the great job you did in organising the weekend, (with some help from others of course), you also took it upon yourself to help me and others attending with family, friends and kids make arrangements for them as well. It didn't quite come off, but that was because of circumstances and nothing else.
In amongst the pile of things you had to arrange, you took the time out to consider non-participants as well. The "showbags" for partners and kids were a nice touch. Totally unexpected.
Once again, thanks from not only myself, but Mari and the kids as well.

Tim, this event ran like clock work. Thank you for all your efforts
Tim you have laid the groundwork so if we have the event at Wakefield again next year then all the hard work is done.
