I know I've seen this somewhere on this site before, but after SEARCHING for 8 hours, I still can't find it. (Talentless, yes, I know) Anyway, there is a video of a 20B running in a car, (just revving, I believe) then another video of it just being turned over by an electric motor, without intake or exhaust hooked up. It's one of the sweetest sounds I have in recent memory. By the way, I'm posting this in this specific forum, because this is probably where I saw the videos.

The first one is a 3-Rotor, but the second one is a 4-Rotor

Wow, that was quick. The first video was the one I was looking for, but thanks for the other two. That four rotor at the strip is insane.

 

That scoot engine has a nice rhythm to it.

 

What I would give to have that sound at the control of my right foot.

I hesitate to admit it, but I look up this vid and listen to it when I am having a bad day.

Here's my 20B N/A FC I built recently with ITB's...

 

Beautiful. (dump the fram oil filter, it clashes! plus fram sux imo)

 

That rediculuous sound of that four rotor at the strip has caused a permanent grin which I cannont erase!

 

I'm with you on that one.. the orange clashes... It'll get a black one at the next oil change...

Nope, never dyno'd it and we don't have a 1/4 mile here in Okinawa... It was a stock 20B block boosting 1.1 with the T76 Q-trim .96 ex housing threw a 4 core intercooler w/ water injection, 720cc primary’s, 1680 secondary, 2 x walboro fuel pumps, Microtec LTX12... I would guess it was at about 500 hp or so and snapped the counter shaft on a FD mission like a tooth pick on a 2nd to 3rd gear change. Lots of fun, but since there are FD's all over this island and no 1/4 mile tracks I tore it down and built the N/A FC for the Japanese equivalent of autocross...

 

I actually got a ride in that one. It was sweet. Got a long in car video of the experiance too.
