CF MS Wing Install

Ok everyone, wish me luck. I just received the last CF MS Wing Rotary Extreme had. I am planning to install it Sunday. This is the first major mod we have made to our 8. I usually pay someone to do the work on our cars. But, after reading so many post about people doing their own installs I have decide to give it a shot.

Ok, the wing did not come with any template or anything to help me line up where exactly it fits on the trunk lid. Our 8 did not have the factory wing so I have to drill my own holes and want to make sure its right before I start. It looks like it should fit along the edge and just roll over it a bit. But it doesn't quite fit that way. Maybe it’s just a little off. I have not seen one installed in person before. Did any one else that purchased the Rotary Extreme CF MS Wing have this same problem? There may not be any actually problem it my just be me.

I plan to call Chuck tomorrow and see if he has a template to help line it up.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

RE was pretty bad fit. best u can do is assemble it and then place it on the car trying ur best to make it fit. THen hold it and mark where the holes should line up. good luck.
