Anyone try MS kit from Rotary Extreme? How is the fitment? My car is white so is there any problem with painting color? Pls give me suggestion.

 

havent seen it, is it eurethane? I think it is, same as factory, would be easyer to fit than fiberglass. Painting isnt a problem for any body shop to do, i would have them primer it and do a 2 step paint and blend it with the hood and fenders for best results.

 

havent seen any mazdaspeed 8 in canada, onlysaw autobahn that why i want to look different, especially for a white 8

 

I've seen the rear piece. It actually fits nicer than the other urethane copies I've seen in person because the Rotary Extreme part is a whole bumper replacement and not just a cover that replaces the bottom portion of our stock bumper (which needs to be cut in order to fit it). I think it is an excellent alternative to the Genuine MS part.

The front and sides have the same fitment issues as the other urethane copies. Sides will fit much better than the front...but it will be obvious to those that have the genuine kit, that you have a replica. Especially because the front does have a larger opening which exposes the poorly painted bumper rebar.

For those that do not already have the kit, it will be less obvious.

 

I have the front and sides from RE. My fitment issues were what you normally come across with urethane, but they were fixed by my body shop. I don't have any issues with the rebar b/c it was replaced after the accident.

 

the true JDM MS front doesn't have the flat black bumper bar cover either..because the JDM rx8's don't have that piece.
