ms speed sides

I just received my sides and the dealer wants to charge me $150 to install the sides. That seems very expensive since they are already painted.

If its already painted then yes, its way too expensive.

The job should be 50 tops, my brother.

Just do it yourself? It's really not that hard and the instructions that are provided are GREAT!

It is not as easy as everyone makes it out because you are drilling holes ALL over the car and one wrong hole and well you got an extra hole. If I was too charge someone it would be 200 bucks for both sides.

it's really not that hard to drill holes in the right location. Measure twice, drill once.

Sorry to hear that. If you decide to install the sides me cautious to drill all of the holes correctly and sand down any raised surfaces around the holes. If the measurements are not exact, the cheap *** plastic clips will break off from stress. This happened to me on the passenger side and I still need to get it fixed. Mazda does not sell these clips separately and I couldn't find them anywhere, Pepe Boys, AutoZone, body shops, manufacturers who made clips. So good luck if you break one, I should have just paid the friggin dealer and got the installation warranty.

That would be great if you did but it's the one closest to the rear fender that broke off on mine and also one of the clips towards the middle of the side skirt. I have some cheap *** silicon stuff holding it on right now in those spots. I was going to use epoxy but I'm trying to avoid that.
